Fire Hazard Awareness

Overview

Fires can happen any time, anywhere. As such, fire safety is a shared responsibility in the workplace. Employers must train their employees about potential fire hazards and the appropriate emergency response. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) reports that in the United States, fire departments respond to fires every 24 seconds, fire-related injuries occur every 35 minutes, and there's a fire-related death every 144 minutes. These alarming figures contributed to an estimated loss of $26.5 billion in 2018, as cited by the U.S. Fire Administration. This simulation aims to educate participants about fire risks, their causes, and effective prevention and control methods.
