Fire Evacuation
Overview
In the event of a fire, quick thinking and calm, informed action can save lives. The Fire Evacuation course introduces trainees to the RACE method—Rescue, Alarm, Contain, and Extinguish/Evacuate—an essential framework used in emergency response across a variety of industries and institutions. This simulation provides realistic, high-pressure scenarios that train users to respond effectively and confidently during a fire emergency.
What You'll Learn
The primary objective of this course is to prepare participants to respond to fire emergencies using the RACE method. Trainees will learn:
- Recognize when someone needs assistance
- Alert others to the emergency
- Help prevent a fire from spreading
- Assess whether evacuation or extinguishing is appropriate
